An Alternative to Radio Boredom

My kids recently commented to me that our local radio stations "sucked". I'd been thinking the same thing for some time. Since the new year I've been listening to educational CDs instead. I started with "Six Easy Pieces", Richard Feynmann's introductory physics lectures. Although these lectures are now 40 years old his take on the universe and life in general is fascinating. Once I finished the Feynmann CDs I found the Western Civilization course taught by Professor Thomas Noble in the nearby library. Again, great stuff. So ... radio's okay sometimes but there's a big fascinating world out there - learn more about it while you're driving.
