Hiking - One of my favorite things to do

First off, I love hiking. Two weekends ago I took my youngest son's Boy Scout Troop on an overnight hike on the Cross-Florida Greenway near Ocala Florida. The route followed the path of the now defunct barge canal. It crosses over I-75 utilizing a one of a kind "land bridge". West of the bridge you enter hill country unlike anything else in peninsular Florida. It's the product of the canal diggings. We spent the night on top of one of these hills.
